En los años 90´s, se formó una banda que llegó a ser el grupo de cantantes femenino más famoso de la época, llegando a vender más de 80 millones de copias en todo el mundo, siendo estas la referencia de las fans jóvenes, este grupo de cantantes se llama “Spice Girls”, estas chicas británicas estremecieron el mundo con sus canciones, etilo y sensualidad. Iniciando su carrera artística en el año 1994, tiempos dominados por grupos masculinos se formó esta banda logrando tener el éxito esperado, donde ya muchos habían fracasado. Los tiempos de las Spice Girls fue una época de muchas giras, estas siendo las pioneras de un estilo dominado por los hombre con bandas como los Backstreet Boys, quienes en es época noventera tenían dominado el mercado pop, norteamericano, es aquí donde estas chicas, logran hacerse de una posición de privilegio llegando a dominar la industria en el Reino Unido hasta estados unidos. Desde la aparición de esta banda con su primer sencillo “Wannabe” en el año 1996 fue un hit mundial, llegando el éxito de forma inmediata y haciendo mucho ruido por su estilo pop. “Wannabe” e el primer sencillo del lanzamiento de esta banda que se convirtió de inmediato en un Hit mundial, consagrándolas desde un inicio como una de las mejores agrupaciones femeninas de la historia. Estas chicas lograron con sus voces y estilo cambiar la dirección de la música, a finales de los 90´s. la producción de bajo de esta canción es, a pesar de ser bastante sencilla, una de la más pegajosa y mejor estructuradas de la época.
