What's up, Hivers. How to pass up a version, even on the bass one of the songs that marked an era of one of the most versatile and innovative guitarists who left a musical legacy and not satisfied with that, also within the cinema, I am talking about “Chuck Berry”. Chuck was an American musician, songwriter, singer and guitarist who, thanks to his unique style of playing the guitar and his magnificent voice, became a pioneer of rock n'roll worldwide.

This being the inspiration of other musicians who until now use their characteristic style in their live performances and as their own style in presentations. His musical career in the 50's, and despite the strong racism of the time and the veto of rock n'roll by orthodox society, was exponentially ascendant as his presentations increased and over there at that time the Radio played the much-questioned but undeniably magnificent rock n'roll songs of the great Chuck in hours allowed. "Johnny B. Goode" considered the best known song of one of the legends and pioneers of rock n'roll, as well as being part of one of the cult films "Back to the Future", belonging to his third album "Chuck Berry Is on Top ”released in 1959. For the realization of this cover I make use of my electric bass, despite the fact that at the time the double bass was used since the electric bass was not yet used.

    "Johnny B. Goode" - Chuck Berry(Bass Cover)

Deep down in Louisiana close to New Orleans
Way back up in the woods among the evergreens
There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood
Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. Goode
Who never ever learned to read or write so well
But he could play a guitar just like a-ringin' a bell
    Go go
    Go Johnny go go
    Go Johnny go go
    Go Johnny go go
    Go Johnny go go
    Johnny B. Goode
He used to carry his guitar in a gunny sack
Go sit beneath the tree by the railroad track
Oh, the engineers would see him sitting in the shade
Strumming with the rhythm that the drivers made
The people passing by they would stop and say
"Oh my what that little country boy could play"
    Go go
    Go Johnny go go
    Go Johnny go go
    Go Johnny go go
    Go Johnny go go
    Johnny B. Goode
His mother told him "someday you will be a man
And you will be the leader of a big old band
Many people coming from miles around
To hear you play your music when the sun go down
Maybe someday your name will be in lights
    Saying "Johnny B. Goode tonight"
    Go go
    Go Johnny go
    Go go go Johnny go
    Go go go Johnny go
    Go go go Johnny go
    Go
    Johnny B. Goode
