"Contraband" the first album of this incredible band, was an immediate success, achieving the first position in the North American Billboard chart, the position 11 in the United Kingdom and the position 2 in Australia, achieving a sale of more than 2 million records. , thus making this band an icon, obviously having a configuration of musicians who have been part of bands with incredible success, it was to be expected that when the Velvet was released, they would have an immediate success.

In addition to having a striking success, this band has had the opportunity to be part of the soundtrack of films like "Hulk" and "Fantastic 4" so it is very likely that you have heard their songs in one of these films. Hace días les hable de “Velvet Revolver” y ofrecí hacer un cover de una de sus canciones en guitarra y como lo prometido es deuda, les traigo el día de hoy un cover de esta banda en guitarra; pero antes hablemos de la discografía de esta banda. “Contraband” el primer álbum de esta increíble banda, tuvo un éxito inmediato, logrando el primer puesto en la lista Billboard norteamericana, el puesto 11 en el reino unido y el puesto 2 en Australia, logrando una venta de más de 2 millones de discos, haciendo así a esta banda un ícono, obviamente a tener una configuración de músicos que han formado parte de bandas con un increíble éxito, era de esperarse que al salir a la luz pública los Velvet, tuvieran un éxito inmediato. Además de tener un llamativo éxito, esta banda ha tenido la oportunidad de formar parte de la banda sonora de películas como “Hulk” y “los 4 Fantásticos” así que es muy probable que hayas escuchado sus tema en alguna de estas películas. “Slither” es el tema elegido para realizar el cover con guitarra a esta banda, este tema tiene un muy marcado estilo de Hard Rock, y que es especialmente llamativo por un riff realmente fantástico. La sonoridad y el poder que le da slash a su interpretación es única, aunque en mi caso estaba haciendo la guitarra rítmica, la cual está en manos del guitarrista Dave Kushner, quien tiene una técnica y limpieza inigualable a la hora de tocar su guitarra.
