Hi Everyone
For this weeks theme of "Colourful" I want to sing English Contry Garden.
Last week I was down in London with my family. While there I visited Kew Gardens
which is the Royal botanic gardens.
This was my first visit to Kew , the garden is huge and very impressvie.I spent around 6 hours wandering the gardens
I took more than 500 photograhs and shot around 30 mins of video.
I thought it would be fun to edit this video with some of the footage I shot at Kew gardens.
The contrast between my standard black and white video and the colourful footage from Kew
seemed fitting for this weeks theme.
I hope you guys enjoy the video.
"English Country Garden"
Traditional, Malcolm David Archer
How many colours of pretty flowers grow
In an English country garden?
Ill tell you now of some of them I know
Those I miss you'll surely pardon
Daffodils, heart's ease and flox
Meadowsweet and lily stocks
Gentle lupine and tall hollihocks
Roses, foxgloves, snowdrops, forget-me-nots
In an English country garden.
How many types of insects make thier home
In an English country garden?
Ill tell you now about some that we know
Those I miss you'll surely pardon
Dragonflies, moths, and bees
Spiders hanging from the trees
Butterflies drift in the mild country breeze
There are hedgehogs that roam
And little garden gnomes
In an English country garden.
How many types of songbirds make there nest
In an English country garden?
Ill tell you now of some them I know
Those I miss you'll surely pardon
Babbaling coo-cooing doves cuckoo and warbling quail
Bluebird, lark, thrush and nightingale
We all smile in the in the spring
When the birds start to sing
In an English country garden
How many colours of pretty flowers grow
In an English country garden?
Ill tell you now of some of them I know
Those I miss you'll surely pardon
Daffodils, heart's ease and flox
Meadowsweet and lily stocks
Gentle lupine and tall hollihocks
We all smile in the in the spring
When the birds start to sing
In an English country garden
