Hey folks
This is my version of Cher's Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves.
"Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves."
She was born in the wagon of a travellin' show
Her mama used to dance for the money they'd throw
Papa would do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel
Sell a couple bottles of Doctor Good
Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
They'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call them Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down
They picked me just south of Mobile
Gave me a ride, filled him with a hot meal
She was sixteen, I was twenty-one
Rode with THEM to Memphis
And her papa woulda shot me if he knew what I'd done
Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
They'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call them Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down
She never had schoolin' but I taught her well
With my smooth southern style
Nine months later shes a gal in trouble
And I aint seen her for a while,
She was born in the wagon of a travellin' show
Her mama had to dance for the money they'd throw
Grandpa'd do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel
Sell a couple bottles of Doctor Good
Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
They'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call them Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down
Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
They'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call them Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down
