Baldur's Gate -Dark Alliance - Lord Xantum Boss Fight

Hey Guys

In this video above I finally managed to kill Lord Xantum the Beholder Boss that is the last fight of Act 1 in Baldur's Gate Dark alliance.

I found using Melfs acid arrow was the best way to deal with him.

This guy is no joke , it took me 8 or 9 attempts to get him down playing on hard difficulty setting.

These Ball lightning attacks are deadly , most of the time these are what killed me.If you get stuck between 2 of them they strip your health right down in seconds.

He will regularly set the floor ablaze and fire projectiles which need to be dodged, a very deadly fight indeed!.

After several attempts the beast was slain!Im glad to see the back of this fight and those damn Balls of Lightning!

Our reward for killing Xantum is a Fiery Longsword that bursts into flames when enemy's are nearby. A Fine +1 Shortbow 2000 gold and 2000 exp.

The leader of The Harpers Guild comes in and tells us that there is a connection between Baldur's Gate ,The Sunset Mountains and The Marsh Of Chelimber.

The leader of the Harpers set a scout through the teleportation gate who hasn't returned. He asks us to go and investigate and its on to Act 2

On the other side of the teleportation gate we end up at the Wind Road.

We get to try out or new fiery sword on the gnolls here.

The wind road is deadly,I cant go back through the telportation gate to the trader to buy healing and mana potions....Its going to be some dark souls style difficulty to make it to the next camp....
