Hello everybody! Today I bring you a cover of a song by the great English artist, Sting, titled "Shape of My heart". This song is very important to me because its melancholic melody and lyrics, marked much of my life. In a non-literal sense, the story that Sting tells about a person who plays cards and casts his luck at random, represents all of us at some point in life. Some observers of logical decisions and others not so much. The frankness with which each person faces his own panorama. The use of a single face to face reality, also tells us of a man who hides under a mask as the most viable way to go unnoticed and have a better chance to win. But he also denies himself the possibility of being transparent and that cannot bring great benefits outside the game. Maybe both. The truth is that this song gets to my bones and I can visualize this man poker player observing his cards with frivolity. Just a mask, not the true shape of his heart.

Also, I think the first time I saw the movie of Leon: The Professional, I felt so sad to see the end, when Matilda escapes from the building and takes the plant with her. There this song starts to play and wow how well this moment fits that song! Then to see Matilda planting the plant with such determination to make Leon's love transcend. An excellent soundtrack.

Finally, I hope you like this interpretation was made with much love and effort from the hand of my partner and me. Without further ado, thank you very much for stopping by and visiting my work. ¡Hola a todos! El día de hoy les traigo por acá un cover de la canción del gran artista inglés, Sting, titulada "Shape of My heart". Este tema es muy importante para mí pues su melancólica melodía y su letra, marcaron gran parte de mi vida. En un sentido no literal, la historia que narra Sting sobre una persona que juega a las cartas y que echa su suerte al azar, nos representa a todos en dado momento en la vida. Unos observadores de decisiones lógicas y otras no tanto. La franqueza con la que se enfrenta cada persona a su propio panorama. El utilizar un solo rostro para afrontar la realidad, también nos habla de un hombre que se oculta bajo una máscara como la forma más viable para pasar desapercibido y tener mejores oportunidades para ganar. Pero también se niega la posibilidad de ser transparente y eso no puede traer grandes beneficios fuera del juego. Quizás ambas cosas. Lo cierto es que está canción me llega hasta los huesos y puedo visualizar a este hombre jugador de poker observando sus cartas con frivolidad. Solo una máscara, no es la verdadera forma de su corazón.

También, creo que la primera vez que ví la película de León: El Profesional, sentí mucha tristeza al ver el final, cuando Matilda escapa del edificio y se lleva la planta. Allí comienza a sonar está canción y vaya ¡Qué bien que se ajusta este momento a esa canción! Luego ver a Matilda sembrando la planta con tanta decisión de hacer trascender el amor de León. Un excelente soundtrack.

Finalmente, espero que les guste esta interpretación fue hecha con mucho cariño y esfuerzo de la mano de mi pareja y la mía. Sin más que decir, muchas gracias por pasar por aquí y visitar mi trabajo.
