¡Saludos, apreciados amigos de Hive! En esta nueva entrega de mi canal en 3speak, les presento la segunda parte de mi serie en el juego Crusader Kings III, la cual se desarrolla en plena disputa ibérica. Continuamos siguiendo las hazañas de nuestro valiente Duque Fernando de Castilla, quien comenzó como el conde de Burgos y mediante guerras estratégicas pudo expulsar a los musulmanes de la región de castilla, con esto logró hacerse con el ducado de Castilla, marcando así el objetivo principal trazado al inicio de esta serie.

Greetings, dear friends of Hive! In this new installment of my channel on 3speak, I present to you the second part of my series on the game Crusader Kings III, which takes place in the middle of the Iberian dispute. We continue following the exploits of our brave Duke Ferdinand of Castile, who began as the Count of Burgos and through strategic wars was able to expel the Muslims from the region of Castile, with this he managed to take the duchy of Castile, thus marking the main objective outlined at the beginning of this series.

Para esta segunda parte, no tengo pensado detener las guerras. Mi objetivo en este segundo capítulo es invadir el ducado de Cantabria, que está bajo el control del reino de Asturias. A pesar de que el rey de Asturias es católico, debo entrar en guerra con él por ese ducado. Al tener los ducados de Castilla y Cantabria, podría formar el reino de Castilla, que es mi segundo objetivo en la serie.

For this second part, I do not plan to stop the wars. My goal in this second chapter is to invade the duchy of Cantabria, which is under the control of the kingdom of Asturias. Even though the king of Asturias is Catholic, I must go to war with him for that duchy. By having the duchies of Castile and Cantabria, I could form the kingdom of Castile, which is my second objective in the series.

Sin embargo, no puedo entrar en conflicto directo con ese rey, ya que tiene una alianza con el rey de Navarra, y juntos superan en número a mi ejército. Antes de declarar la guerra, debo establecer una alianza mediante matrimonio. Lo ideal sería comprometer al Duque Fernando con la hija de un rey vecino. Es importante que ese rey disponga de un sólido contingente militar. Así, podré asegurar una alianza estratégica y aumentar mis posibilidades de éxito en la guerra.

However, I cannot enter into direct conflict with that king, since he has an alliance with the king of Navarre, and together they outnumber my army. Before declaring war, I must establish an alliance by marriage. The ideal would be to engage Duke Ferdinand with the daughter of a neighboring king. It is important that this king has a strong military contingent. Thus, I will be able to secure a strategic alliance and increase my chances of success in the war.
