BTC ATM SAVES THE DAY

So we are in day 10 of country wide protests here in Guatemala. Blockades all over the country saying no bussiness as usual.
The people of Guatemala voted and won overwhelmingly for President elect Arevalo who ran on an anti curruption platform.
Now the outgoing administration is pulling a Trumpian move and calling the election and the very party that president won with ilegal.
The party is called Semilla (Seed). The claim is that of the 25000 signatures need to create a party, that many are fake signatures.
Therefore the party Semilla is ilegal and the president who won running with the Semilla party is nulified because he shouldnt have been able to run.

The millions of Guatemalans who voted for the new politician claiming to want to lift up the standard of life for all Guatemalans and not just a few...
well now those millions of people have taken to the streets!
They are blocking all road and supplies from moving. Currently there is no gas in the gas stations, no money in the atms, banks closing and without money.
Its been going on for 10 days now and the protests have not slowed at all but instead gained momentum. Yesterday military and police were sent in to break up some key blockades.
The people surrounded them and frog marched the armed and uniformed troops away, this happened in multiple locations throughout the country.
There is little news getting out about what is going on here in Guatemala, i can only assume because it is an example of how powerful people are when they unite as 1.

As an owner of a tourist hotel here at Lake Atitlan, its been tough but i support whats happening. Yet i still need to pay people and money is not getting to atms and banks.
