Today we are going to visit one of the most interesting Loures parishes in the area, we find it a few km from Lisbon and if you like adventures and enjoy nature then a visit to Fanhões is mandatory! Here you can enjoy everything from magnificent landscapes to very old places and houses that tell the story of how Fanhões was for hundreds of years the city par excellence of shoemakers, and producer of the best cobblestones in Europe!🧭🌏🚵‍♂️

Hola amigos viajeros! hoy vamos a visitar una de las parroquias de Loures mas interesantes de la zona, la encontramos a pocos km de Lisboa y si te gustan las aventuras y disfrutar de la naturaleza entonces la visita a Fanhões es obligatoria! aqui podras disfrutar desde paisajes magnificos hasta locales y casas muy antiguas que cuentan la historia de como Fanhões fue por cientos de años la ciudad por excelencia de los zapateros, y productora de los mejores adoquines de europa!🚙🍍🌷

First of all, if you want to visit Fanhões you will have to reach the following coordinates: 38° 52' 52" N 9° 09' 09" Or, to start the adventure you need to either get to the city center, which you do with your own transportation or take the bus that leaves you in the city, however you can access up to here because the rest of the walk will be only on inaccessible roads! Therefore our first stop is the center of Fanhões which has nothing interesting but its landscape is worth it since it is a valley surrounded by the Loures hills!🚵‍♂️🌏🧭

Primero que nada si deseas visitar Fanhões tendras que llegar a las siguientes coordenadas: 38° 52' 52" N 9° 09' 09" O, para comenzar la aventura necesitas o llegar al centro de la ciudad que lo haces con transporte propio o coger el autobus que te deja en la ciudad, sin embargo hasta aqui podras acceder pues el resto de la caminata sera unicamente por carreteras poco accesibles! por tanto nuestra primera parada es el centro de Fanhões el cual no tiene nada interesante pero su paisaje si vale la pena ya que es un valle rodeado por las colinas de Loures!🚩🚙😍

And here begins my adventure within the central town of Fanhões, as you can see, it is a colorful city with very old houses, some of which maintain by order of the camera their main façade from the mid-18th century, some even older, we see photos of murals everywhere and a One of the main characteristics of the town is its lands, almost all of which are occupied by local crops!🌏🧭🚩

Y aqui comienza mi aventura dentro del casco central de Fanhões como puedes ver es una ciudad colorida con casas muy antiguas algunas mantienen por orden de la camara su fachada principal de mediados del XVIII algunas hasta mas antiguas, vemos fotos de murales por todos lados y una de las principales caracteristicas del pueblo son sus tierras casi todas ocupadas para la siembra local!🚵‍♂️🍍🌄

This is the entrance to the city and you begin your adventure with the Fanhões River to border the entire city, which had a great positive impact on the local economy because many years ago it was a river with a greater flow and of which the residents used it. As a business from laundries to different industries including agronomy, today it is totally neglected! but the landscape is quite beautiful and it doesn't have any bad smell so you can take some photos!👀🧭🌏

esta es la entrada de la ciudad y comienzas tu aventura con el rio de Fanhões a bordear toda la ciudad el cual tuvo un gran impacto positivo para la economia local pues muchos años atras era un rio con un mayor caudal y del cual los pobladores lo utilizaban como negocio desde lavanderias hasta para las diferentes industrias incluyendo la agronomia hoy en dia esta totalmente descuidado! pero el paisaje es bastante bonito y no tiene ningun mal olor por eso puedes hacerte unas fotos!😲🚙

Stop in the park with a river view🧭🌄/Parada en el parque con vista al rio🍍🚩

Fanhões is a very old city and as I mentioned in the video it dates back to the post-medieval era of discovery, walking through stone streets that are more than 500 years old is a unique experience that reminds us of how much history Portugal has! The first stop is a wooden bench that faces the river and that helps you relax a little, hydrate and prepare yourself mentally because an intense walk of more than 10km is coming.🧭🚩

Fanhões es una ciudad muy antigua y como lo mencionaba en el video data desde la era de los descubrimientos post era medieval, caminar entre calles de piedras con mas de 500 años es una experiencia unica y que nos recuerda cuanta historia tiene Portugal! la primera parada es una banca de madera que esta frente al rio y que te sirve para relajarte un poco hidratarte y prepararte mentalmente porque se viene una caminata intensa de mas de 10km🌏😍🌊

Window to nature🧭🌄/Ventana a la naturaleza🍍🚩

haha I'm a little confused here! because I thought... What's a window doing here hidden? Incredibly, I went to check Googlemaps and found that it is a tourist place whose name is: "window of the mouth" which recreates an image of nature when you look out the window! Therefore I write it down in the post as a mandatory stop!🌏🚩

haha aqui quede un poco confuso! porque pense... Que hace una ventana aqui escondida? increiblemente fui a revisar el googlemaps y me tope que es un lugar turistico la cual tiene como nombre: "ventana de la boca" lo que recrea es una imagen a la naturaleza cuando te asomas por la ventana! por tanto lo apunto en el post como una parada obligatoria!🍍🌄

17th century laundries🧭🌄/Lavanderias del siglo XVII🍍🚩

This is another obligatory stop on our walk and we are close to leaving the city so don't forget to pass by the public laundries which were very popular in the 17th century and at that time they were very modern and along with the river What happens next door, many people came from Lisbon to use the laundry service, that's how good the industry was at the time!🚩🌷🍍

Esta es otra parada obligatoria en nuestra caminata y ya estamos cerca de salir de la ciudad por tanto no te olvides pasar por las lavanderias publicas la cual fueron muy populares en el siglo XVII y es que en esa epoca eran muy modernas y junto con el rio que pasa al lado muchas personas venian de Lisboa para usar el servicio de lavanderia asi de buena era la industria en la epoca!🌄🌏
