    About :

This is one of my favorite studies so far. It is deeply expressive which demands from the performer a certain sensitivity to those little details. The first part is "a guisa di barcarola" which means that it should be played like a barcarola, a genre sung by Viennese gondoliers hundreds of years ago. There are a couple of famous works by Brahms and Offenbach that use this genre as inspiration.
What I found funny when editing it was that I first took care of the audio, when I was listening to it I hated how the breaths sounded so I decided to remove them completely. After that, I set out to edit the video and when I put audio and video together, I realized how funny it looked when I opened my mouth to breathe and absolute silence occurred. I didn't remove it, I would say that to learn and remember my mistake every time I saw this video, but the truth is that I got lazy. It remains as an anecdote and I hope it amuses you but does not distract you from listening to such a beautiful study.
