A big shout out to this community made up of music enthusiasts - I would say "crazy about it" -. Vocalists, instrumentalists and composers. And to @lordbutterfly, creator of this magnificent opportunity to interact with musicians of all musical genres, all levels of learning - because music is infinite and that is why we never stop learning -, all nations and all languages. Today I arrive here from Villa de Cura, a small town in the Aragua state in Venezuela, with my instrument: the harp and with a specific musical genre for that harp, it is the joropo aragüeño. The joropo is one of the typical music of Venezuela that has great diversity in terms of its folk music since it springs from three different roots: the native aboriginal of our country, the Spanish that integrated and merged with ours at the time. of the conquest and colony and the African that came to stay during the time of slavery. We have the fusion of these three roots on the surface in the fantastic coloring of our skin and deep in our hearts, expressing it through music with extraordinary nuances. With my harp I interpret one of those multiple genres: the Aragüeño joropo. Today with the piece "How beautiful is Venezuela" I didn't get the video of that song, so I bring you the video of an Aragüeño joropo dance so that other harpists can hear how it sounds and also see how it is danced:

Un gran saludo a esta comunidad formada por apasionados de la música - yo diría "locos por ella" - . Vocalistas, instrumentistas y compositores. Y a @lordbutterfly, creador de esta oportunidad magnífica de interactuar con músicos de todos los géneros musicales, todos los niveles de aprendizaje - porque la música es infinita y por ello nunca dejamos de aprender -, todas las naciones y todos los idiomas.

Hoy llego acá desde Villa de Cura, pequeño pueblo del estado Aragua en Venezuela, con mi instrumento: el arpa y con un género musical específico para esa arpa, se trata del joropo aragüeño. El joropo es una de las músicas típicas de Venezuela que tiene gran diversidad en cuanto a su música folclórica ya que la misma brota de tres raíces diferentes: la aborígen autóctona de nuestro país, la española que se integró y fusionó con la nuestra en la época de la conquista y colonia y la africana que llegó a quedarse durante la época de la esclavitud. La fusión de estas tres raíces la tenemos a flor de piel en la fantástica coloración de nuestra piel y en lo profundo de nuestro corazón expresándose la misma mediante una música con matices extraordinarios.
