Opening 45 Diamond Loot Chests for EoS Rewards on July 31st & Opening 10 Chaos Legion Packs

Ahoy, the latest season in Splinterlands has ended on July 31st. I did record my video that day and was planning to upload it the next day. But I didn't get to it and well then I've kinda forgotten to take some time to edit it and write the post.

My apologies thus for this really late upload, but at least I am finally posting it!

So this season has been quite different compared to before because halfway the season the usage of bots has been banned in Modern format! Well since bots had been evolving a lot it's partially become easier but at the same time it also became a bit more difficult with less people using Silver league maxed cards in Gold I suppose. Overall I was still doing quite well! But I didn't exactly get to Diamond 3 this time around. I was getting quite close but then I had some losses too. Honestly 2 of them were just really terrible RNG for me.. With my opponents hitting my Monsters almost all the time and mine missing. Even if we both used one with Dodge for example mine just keep missing the opponent's and they hit me as if they had True Strike which they didn't though.

That's what happened but it is what it is. Now I finished the season in Gold 1 which does mean I will be getting Gold Season chests this season, but it might be interesting to see a comparison between the two. So overall it's not too bad, but I do have to make sure I get a lot more season chests now. Which should be easier since the gold ones require less points.

I definitely have been enjoying ranked battles in Modern a lot more now though thanks to those changes! =D

So yeah I ended this season with 45 Diamond End of Season chests, that's 3 less chests than last season and still a quite good amount.

From opening those 45 Diamond Loot Chests I get the following rewards displayed in a screenshot from splintershare info made by deadzy

Here are those rewards in bullet list:

• SPS: 234.1
• Merits: 456
• Legendary Potions: 65
• Alchemy Potions: 100
• Chaos Legion Pack: 1

Alright SPS going back up compared to last season with more than double the amount of SPS. Not a whole lot of merits. Some amount of potions like usual. Last but not least still 1 Chaos Legion Pack always fun to see those!

Let's look at the cards now.

Common Cards:

• 7x Firecaller
• 11x Possessed Puppet
• 1x GOLD FOIL Possessed Puppet
• 8x Gobson Bomber
• 8x Fungus Flinger
• 1x Dumacke Orc
• 4x GOLD FOIL Dumacke Orc

Rare Cards:

• 6x War Pegasus

Epic Cards:

• 2x Clockword Aide

Hah get those single copies of regular foils and then a bit later I find multiple GOLD FOIL copies of those that was quite funny!
With Possessed Puppet it's the other way around, get lots of copies already and then get a single Gold Foil of that one xD

Sweet the Gold Foil Dumacke Orc copies should be enough to get this one to level 5 now in Gold Foil, that'll be nice if I want to use it in Brawls!

Too bad no Legendaries in my chests once again :( But I did get 2 copies of Terraceous Hulk in my Daily Focus a few days before.

Time to open 10 Chaos Legion Packs like I usually do after claiming my End of Season rewards. From those 10 packs I get the following cards, leaving out the Common Cards (except for Gold Foil).

Wow haha starting off the pack with a Gold Foil Xenith Monk, that's a great start with a sweet Gold Foil version of pretty nice neutral card!

Other than that one no more Gold Foil cards unfortunately

No Legendary here either. But you know I did get 14 Rare Cards and 2 Epic Cards in here so it's definitely better than the minimum you can get. Still a quite nice opening and I got 2 Obsidian which is bringing me closer to upgrading her to level 5.
