Needleworkmonday: let's Crochet a Cactus 🌵

Today we will get through the process of making this little cactus plushie.

Cactus, though are thorny but beautiful at it own place. People especially grow them, and there are few kinds which takes lots of time to even grow an inch. I don't know much about cactus, but we had grown one long cactus in our home but it had got rotten.

So to again remember and celebrate the thorny beauty let's crochet a cactus.

And posting a crochet project at least once a week has made me get out of my comfort zone and do stuff un the time I used to waste pretty easily.

The Process

I started off with making the pot.

In the beginning the steps were familiar, but at Round 5 you have to crocheta the back loop of the chain, and this gave a certain texture to the pot.

Here is the pot ready.

Then I made sand with the darker color. It was pretty simple.

This is how these parts gonna fit it.

Here the heart shaped cactus in process.

Then I stuffed the pot and sealed it.

After that I attached cactus to the pot.

Then I added the face details and attached a small white flower.

So this is the final result.
