Este Domingo 23 de Julio, se jugó el clásico de la primera división del Fútbol Profesional entre Caracas Fútbol Club y Deportivo Táchira Fútbol Club, a partir de las 5:00 de la tarde (hora venezolana) en el Estadio Olímpico de la UCV.
De igual modo, el duelo fue correspondiente a la jornada 20, en donde ambos clubes llegaban con la necesidad de sumar puntos a como de lugar, más que todo el local, quien venia de perder 2-0 con Angostura Fútbol Club en condición de visitante.
Por otro lado, los visitantes vencieron por la mínima diferencia al líder Academia Puerto Cabello, gracias al gol de Nelson Hernández al minuto 51'.
