"Talent Sound Music" - Mes de Abril - Categoría: Instrumento - @alejandrorigo - "Río Manzanares"

Apreciados amigos de #Hive es un grato placer para mi venir a saludarles nuevamente, en especial a la comunidad de #SoundMusic en donde vengo a participar en el Talent Sound Music del mes de Abril al cual fui invitado por mi hermano @alejandrop...con la honorable temática de "Un canto por la paz". En esta ocasión voy a participar con la categoría de Instrumento, con una canción que representa el Folklore de mi tierra Oriental Venezolana. Río Manzares es una canción muy antigua cuyo compositor original lamento no tener su información, pero esta canción ha sido versionada por muchos grandes artistas a lo largo del tiempo...Su nombre homónimo del río que atraviesa la ciudad de Cumaná, del cual habla la canción...Que a su vez fue llamado así por los colonos españoles en honor al río Ibérico con el mismo nombre.

Esta canción fue una de las primeras que me aprendí y con la que me inicie en el mundo musical en una pequeña estudiantina en mi escuela cuando apenas era un pequeño. La pequeña estudiantina se trataba de 5 estudiantes apasionados junto a un profesor que dirigía con una mandolina, llevando un groove de melodías y ritmos alegóricos de un sentimiento cultural. Y recordando pues, aquellos días de nuevas emociones, he querido grabar este guitarcover y hoy fue el día que escogí.

Dear friends of #Hive, it is a great pleasure for me to come and greet you again, especially to the #SoundMusic community where I come to participate in the Talent Sound Music for the month of April, to which I was invited by my brother @alejandrop... with the honorable theme of "A song for peace". On this occasion I am going to participate with the category of Instrument, with a song that represents the Folklore of my Eastern Venezuelan land. Río Manzares is a very old song whose original composer I'm sorry I don't have your information, but this song has been covered by many great artists over time... Its name is the homonym of the river that crosses the city of Cumaná, which the song talks about...Which in turn was named by the Spanish settlers in honor of the Iberian river with the same name.

This song was one of the first that I learned and with which I was introduced to the musical world in a small student at my school when I was just a child. The little student girl met 5 passionate students together with a teacher who led with a mandolin, performing a groove of melodies and rhythms allegorical of a cultural feeling. And remembering, then, those days of new emotions, I wanted to record this guitar cover and today was the day I chose.

Para mi es un verdadero honor participar en esta temática de "Un canto por la paz" ya que necesitamos mucha paz en el mundo y ojala pudiéramos tener el poder de convertir la guerra en música y arte. Y se que todos unidos siempre podemos, por eso me uno a esta causa.

Esta version full Guitar que he hecho esta basada en la version que tocabamos en la estudiantina de las que les hable. Este ritmo de guitarra lo aprendi recientemente sacando unas canciones de musica llanera, y como el ritmo es parecido (3/4) lo utilice y creo que no ha ido nada mal. Para el solo trate de emular un poco el sonido y el estilo de la mandolina mezclandolo con licks propios del estilo de guitarra. Por lo demas, le he puesto todo el inmenso cariño del mundo siempre pensando en #Hive y en sus valiosos usuarios que siempre comparten contenido de calidad, desde los mas nuevos hasta los mas antiguos, hay muchisimos usuarios creativos y talentos a los cuales valen la pena vistar su trabajo y hasta seguir sus proyectos personales.

Para la grabacion me estuvo acompañando por un rato mi sobrina Isabella pero no se quería reír así que le tuve que sacar una sonrisa obligada.

Por ultimo quiero extenderle la invitación a la amiga @yuli07 la cual es una gran cantante con una hermosa voz. Al pana @naradamoon quien es un gran artista, recomiendo visitar su blog. Por ultimo a mi pana y bro @lyon-89 quien se dedica a crear beats de Lo-Fi pero también es un gran cantante con excelente nivel vocal. Hay muchísimos mas a los que quisiera invitar. For me it is a true honor to participate in this theme of "A song for peace" since we need a lot of peace in the world and I wish we could have the power to turn war into music and art. And I know that we all can always be united, that's why I join this cause.

This full Guitar version that I have made is based on the version that we played in the student club that I told you about. I recently learned this guitar rhythm by taking out some songs of llanera music, and since the rhythm is similar (3/4) I used it and I think it has not gone bad at all. For the solo try to emulate a bit the sound and style of the mandolin by mixing it with licks typical of the guitar style. For the rest, I have put all the immense affection in the world always thinking of #Hive and its valuable users who always share quality content, from the newest to the oldest, there are many creative users and talents who are worth the worth seeing his work and even follow his personal projects.

For the recording my niece Isabella was accompanying me for a while but she didn't want to laugh so I had to make her smile.

Finally I want to extend the invitation to my friend @ yuli07 who is a great singer with a beautiful voice. To pana @naradamoon who is a great artist, I recommend visiting his blog. Finally, to my friend and bro @lyon-89 who is dedicated to creating Lo-Fi beats but is also a great singer with an excellent vocal level. There are so many more I'd like to invite. PD: el video tuvo una pequeña falla en la grabación en el minuto 1:11 haciendo una interferencia que cambio el ritmo, esto me paso en varios intentos de grabación, por eso decidí dejarlo así y editarlo agregándole unos filtros de manera que pareciera una cinta de vhs dañada

PS: the video had a small recording error at minute 1:11 making an interference that changed the rhythm, this happened to me in several recording attempts, that's why I decided to leave it like that and edit it by adding some filters in a way that looks like a damaged vhs tape
