Let's Play "Final Fantasy VII" ECHO-S Mod: (Part 02) Childhood Friend

FFVII ECHO-S is a fan-made Mod that adds Full Voice Acting to Final Fantasy VII. It's part of 7th Heaven's Mod Pack which completely ovehauls the Final Fantasy VII experience. I wanted to play Modded FFVII for a while now, and I'm excited to play it with voice acting.

AVALANCHE's Base

This is the 2nd part of my FFVII playthrough with ECHO-S Mod. Watch the first part here.

After bombing the 1st Mako Reactor, Cloud and the AVALANCHE team went back to their base in Sector 7. Cloud reunites with his childhood friend Tifa who's helping Barret. After spending the night, they set out to bomb Reactor 5.

There weren't many battles in this segment of the game. I met the Mod's creator who's standing on the second floor of Sector 7's slums' Weapon Store. (I went there to get the "All" materia, so it was a big surprise.) He talked about the effort that was put in the Mod. My favorite line is when he said, everyone is voiced, and even AAA games don't do something like that.

I love the night-day cycles the ECHO-S Mod introduced to the game, though it made some parts harder to see. I wonder how much they'll change the feel of the game's important scenes.

I ended recording in the save point on the way to Sector 5. Next video will feature the second Boss battle of Final Fantasy VII. Thanks for watching.~
