Let's Play "Final Fantasy VII" ECHO-S Mod: (Part 7) Hojo is a Creep

FFVII ECHO-S is a fan-made Mod that adds Full Voice Acting to Final Fantasy VII. It's part of 7th Heaven's Mod Pack which completely ovehauls the Final Fantasy VII experience. I wanted to play Modded FFVII for a while now, and I'm excited to play it with voice acting.

Ascending Shinra's Building

Cloud, Barret and Tifa break into Shinra's headquarters and ascend the floors. In each floor, the party finds a way to collect the Keycard to reach the next one. Finally, they overhear Shinra's meeting, and find out their plans. Something regarding "the promised land." They follow Hojo to his Laboratory and discover his creepy experiment with Aerith and a mysterious wolf-lion.

At floor 60, there's a stealth Mini-game, and I suck at that. I loved how every time I lose the three characters start to make fun of each other. By the time it was Tifa's turn, they were fed up with the stealth part!

At floor 63, there's a mini-game in which you collect coupons scattered around the floor. I didn't manage to collect all of them in this run. I missed the "All" materia coupon, but I think I did well collecting the other two.

The Shinra executives meeting happens in the 66th floor. It's funny how everyone comments on bad smell in the meeting's room, the reason of which is the vent from the bathroom. I think it's hilarious that a company as prestigious as Shinra sufferes from a problem like this. In the meeting, they discuss the damages from Sector 7's plate drop, and their plans to use Aerith to find the promised land.

Hojo says that they need 120 years to discover it analysing Aerith's DNA, but he has an experiment that would solve this problem.

Regarding Hojo's experiments, the less you think about his experiment the better. It's really creepy and inhumane. Though, considering the horrible things he did in the FFVII's lore, it's not the worst thing he's ever done.
