I ADVANCED TO GOLD...AND IT'S NOT TERRIBLE!

I've been waiting patiently for the general sale to arrive so I could finally level up my cards to Gold - and now that moment is here!

Over the past couple of days I have been leveling up my summoners and then monsters for the first tier of Gold (level 5 for Rare summoners). With that, I've also leveled up most legendary monsters and any common or rare monsters that I use regularly.

I'll be honest, I was scared of moving up to Gold. I kept thinking that I would get destroyed by higher level cards as well as older OP monsters. And while I do get destroyed sometimes, on the whole Gold has actually been kind of nice! I'm earning a little more DEC now per win, and the competition is definitely up to par.

I think my favorite part is actually the new abilities some of these monsters get. The game meta completely changes here and it's nice to relearn it and challenge myself.

So even with a non-maxed deck, I've been able to get a 2500 rating which I'm quite proud of this early in the season. As we go along, I will probably look to add and level up as I go with the goal of maxing out all Chaos Legion cards for Gold at least.
