The end of the SPS airdrop is going to be a major shock to the Splinterlands ecosystem. Many assets including DEC and packs will no longer have the incentive to be held.
When it comes to packs, I believe this will push many to roll the dice and open their packs as at the rate we are going, we won't sell out anytime soon. With that being the case, many who bought packs to speculate might try to pull a GFL to get their money back rather than wait for Chaos Legion to sell out.
If that ends up being the case, I think card prices will fall dramatically and the market will reprice itself according to the new higher supply. This can change if new players come in between now and July but with the way broader and crypto markets are looking, I can see a lot of stagnation happening throughout 2022.
Hopefully I'm wrong! But if I'm not, there will be great entry points coming up!
