When comparing SPS to DEC in terms of return on investment, there are a couple of things that I think it's important for everyone to consider.
As more value is driven towards vouchers, and therefore SPS by extension, the expected price movement is upward in the long term as SPS is a hard capped token. DEC on the other hand is expected to get back to it's peg following the end of the airdrop.
While the current APR of holding DEC is almost double that of SPS (including vouchers), there is still significant risk of reduction of capital once DEC heads back to peg. Whether or not the return is worth the risk is up to each individual, but looking at it both ways my strong play is still SPS.
Not financial advice.
