Están formados por cuerpo Cilindrico de madera de Lano vaciado en forma de Reloj de Arena con un orificio en la mitad que mejora su sonoridad, ambos extremos están parchados por cuero de venado o pereza los cuales están sujetados con ataduras de Guaral, son ejecutados apoyados en el suelo y en la entrepierna con palitos, y las manos.
Estos tambores están identificados como Prima, Cruzao y Pujao
Prima: Tambor Redondo más pequeño y de timbre muy agudo
Cruzao: Tambor Redondo mediano y de timbre medio
Pujao ó Macho: Tambor redondo grande y de timbre grave (También le llaman repicador)

Cruzao: Medium round drum with medium timbre.
Pujao or Macho: Large round drum with a deep timbre (also called "repicador").
