Mi participacion en el Circuito Nuevas Bandas / My participation in the New Bands Circuit @adreini

Hi Hive friends, I'm excited to share what I've been working on for weeks, in April I saw a publication that New Bands was going to start this year, so without much of my own material, I decided to sign up. I've always thought that in life you have to risk everything, so I got my musicians to be able to carry out one of my dreams.

Since I was in high school I dreamed of participating in the Nuevas Bandas festival, I used to go years before to see it, perhaps many don't know about this event, but for me it was and is something important, after the registration I didn't know if I had been selected, until I saw my name in the Nuevas Bandas publication.

Hola amigos de Hive, estoy emocionada por compartir lo que he estado trabajando desde hace semanas, en el mes de abril vi una publicación que el Nuevas Bandas se iba a hacer este año, así que sin mucho material propio, decidí incribirme. Siempre he pensado que en la vida hay que arriesgarse todo, así que conseguí mis músicos para poder llevar a cabo uno de mis sueños.

Desde que estoy en el liceo soñaba con participar en el festival Nuevas Bandas, solia ir años anteriores a verlo, tal vez muchos no conozcan este evento, pero para mi era y es algo importante, después de la inscripción no sabía si habia quedado, hasta que vi mi nombre en la publicación del Nuevas Bandas.

The truth is that I couldn't believe that they had accepted me, because I don't have much of my own material. I asked a friend to make me a very simple logo to be able to participate.

I had a lot of problems because I thought that everything was going to start like in the month of September, I was very confident and had only done a rehearsal to finalize the members, suddenly they told me that the event is the following month, it means this month of July and I got really scared because I only had 3 weeks to put together all the songs.

The good thing is that I have my songs written, so before the rehearsals I sent each one their corresponding sheet music to speed everything up. The good news is that we had one more week because of the cyclone, the organizers decided to postpone it for one week, so I had 1 month to assemble my music.

La verdad no me podía creer que me habían aceptado, debido que el material propio que tengo es poco, le pedí a un amigo que me hiciera un logo muy sencillo para poder participar.

Tuve muchos problemas porque pensé que todo iba a empezar como en el mes de septiembre, tenía mucha confianza y sólo había hecho un ensayo para finiquitar a los miembros, de pronto me dicen que el evento es al siguiente mes, es decir este mes de julio y me asusté mucho porque nada más tenia 3 semanas para montar todas las canciones.

Lo bueno es que tengo mis temas escritos, así que antes de los ensayos a cada uno les mandé su partitura correspondiente para acelerar todo. La buena noticia es que tuvimos una semana más por el ciclón, los organizadores desidieron posponerlo por una semana, así que tuve 1 mes para ensamblar mi música.

The day of the event we were really very nervous, we were going to be the first to play in the Nuevas Bandas circuit and since I don't have material of my music on the networks, people didn't know what I was going to bring, but I with my nerves gave all of me.

I'm not very used to giving a show, I'm a very calm person, but everything in this life can be practiced.

After the participation of the other 3 bands, they began to name the winner who will be at the Nuevas Bandas festival, since we were participating in the eliminatory circuit.

To tell the truth, I didn't have many expectations after Gran Celaje was named, but suddenly there was a surprise, I was tied with the Gran Celaje group, I couldn't believe that I had been selected and that I had done something that I didn't expect, I'm very excited.

I humbly decided to bring you two of my songs, one called Miras and the other Contigo, I hope you like it and if you live in Caracas, go see me at the final of Nuevas Bandas.

El día del evento la verdad estabamos muy nerviosos, ibamos a ser los primeros en tocar en el circuito Nuevas Bandas y como no tengo material de mi música en las redes, la gente no sabía que es lo que iba a traer, pero yo con mis nervios di todo de mí.

No estoy muy acostumbrada a dar un espectaculo, soy una persona muy tranquila, pero todo en esta vida es práctica.

Después de la participación de las otras 3 bandas empezaron a nombrar al ganador quienes son los que van para el festival Nuevas Bandas, debido que los estabamos participando era el circuito de eliminatorias.

A decir verdad no me tenía muchas espectativas después de nombraron a Gran Celaje, pero de pronto hubo una sorpresa, quedé empatada con el grupo Gran Celaje, no podía creer que había quedado y que había hecho algo que no me esperaba, estoy muy emocionada.

Decidí traerles humildemente dos de mis canciones, una que se llama Miras y la otra Contigo, espero que sea de su agrado y si viven en Caracas, vayan a verme a la final del Nuevas Bandas.
