I use homebrew on my Wii...to turn it into a wireless Gamecube controller adapter! [ENG/ESP]

This is a video demostrating the setup I have to use my Gamecube controllers on PC by using the Wii as a makeshift wireless adapter!
This is using a homebrew called PadSend that I had found long ago and that works through PPJoy and a companion program. The "PadSend Wii" thing I open is actually a .DOL file being sent to the Wii instead of a PC program, so in that moment the homebrew is being sent to the Wii to be loaded and then connect to the PC companion program. While it took a bit for some reason, you can see that when the program shows the pads connected, I show both pads through the Windows joystick panel being detected properly when I move the stick and press the buttons on both gamepads.

The downsides is that you need to set your IP on your router to be static (since setting up for the first time might not account for any IP changes; its weird to explain because I'm not 100% sure about that deal either) for it to reliably connect every day, and because it requires PPJoy (which does not have signed drivers), you need to use Safe Mode...which is incompatible with Easy Anti Cheat. But other than that? It works like a charm, and it actually is really good on the input lag side (you'd think it might be an issue considering its a Wii transmitting the inputs to a PC wirelessly...but miraculously it isn't) and sticks and triggers even work with analog properly! (That's also shown on the panel)

What I did after that was to show a bit of a demo with the gamepad on the Sonic Robo Blast 2 fangame (with an Adventure Sonic mod loaded), and while I couldn't do that much as I had one hand occupied holding my phone as the camera, it still shows the game picking up all my movements and button presses reliably.

I also recorded a test of me playing Daytona USA one-handed with this (because again, who would hold the camera for me at 1am??), but I will be uploading that another day, but for now, I hope that you liked to see the strange yet cool setup I have for using my GC pads on the PC, which comes specially handy when buddies come at my home as it works with up to 4 GC pads.

Este es un vídeo que demuestra la configuración que tengo para usar mis mandos de Gamecube en el PC utilizando la Wii como un adaptador inalámbrico improvisado.
Esto es usando un homebrew llamado PadSend que encontré hace tiempo y que funciona a través de PPJoy y un programa complementario. El "PadSend Wii" que abro es en realidad un archivo .DOL que se envía a la Wii en lugar de un programa de PC, así que en ese momento el homebrew se envía a la Wii para que se cargue y luego se conecte al programa compañero del PC. Aunque tardó un poco por alguna razón, se puede ver que cuando el programa muestra los pads conectados, se ven ambos pads a través del panel de joystick de Windows siendo detectados correctamente cuando muevo el stick y pulso los botones de ambos gamepads.

Las desventajas son que necesitas configurar tu IP en el router para que sea estática (ya que la configuración por primera vez puede no tener en cuenta los cambios de IP; es raro explicarlo porque tampoco estoy 100% seguro de ese asunto) para que se conecte de forma fiable todos los días, y como requiere PPJoy (que no tiene drivers firmados), necesitas usar el Modo Seguro... que es incompatible con Easy Anti Cheat. Pero aparte de eso... Funciona a las mil maravillas, y la verdad es que es muy bueno en lo que se refiere al retraso de las entradas (uno pensaría que podría ser un problema teniendo en cuenta que es una Wii que transmite las entradas a un PC de forma inalámbrica... pero milagrosamente no lo es) y los sticks y los gatillos funcionan incluso con los analógicos correctamente. (Eso también se muestra en el panel)

Lo que hice después fue mostrar una pequeña demostración con el gamepad en el fangame Sonic Robo Blast 2 (con un mod de Adventure Sonic cargado), y aunque no pude hacer mucho ya que tenía una mano ocupada sosteniendo mi teléfono como cámara, sigue mostrando que el juego capta todos mis movimientos y pulsaciones de botones de forma fiable.

También grabé una prueba jugando al Daytona USA con una mano con esto (porque, de nuevo, ¿quién iba a sujetar la cámara por mí a la 1 de la madrugada?), pero la subiré otro día, pero por ahora, espero que os haya gustado ver la extraña pero genial configuración que tengo para usar mis GC pads en el PC, que viene especialmente bien cuando los amigos vienen a mi casa, ya que funciona con hasta 4 GC pads.
