Vibes the hidden Jewel on Hive

There was a lot of hype around the proof of brain community and the POB token lately. The token got a lot of attention, a lot of investors and also a lot of controversy. Roughly at the same time that Proof of brain was born, we also so the Vibes token emerging on the Hive blockchain.

Both token have a cap at 21'000'000 units

What links these two projects is that they both have a market cap of 21'000'000 tokens. Proof of brain will reach that by halving the supply every 4 years. Vibes will reach that in a different manner which is a reduction of 21% of the supply roughly every 2.5 months.

Since the start of Vibes, the token of the Musicforlife community, there was already a reduction of supply by 21% and there will be another one by mid July.

When comparing both tribes, the supply reduction of Vibes will be much faster than for POB. When you look already now at the number of tokens in circulation, you can see that there are about 3 times more POB tokens in circulation than Vibes tokens.

A quick supply reduction that is in favor of early adopters

With this quick supply reduction on Vibes, it makes a lot of sense to get into this token early and grow the stake as long as it is still easy. It will become more difficult every 2.5 months!

Use cases and development

Another interesting aspect about the Vibes tokens is that you can stake it like any other Hive Engine token to generate curation rewards but you can also stake it on the VFTlab platform where you can get a return of close to 100% according to VFTlab Farming stats.

On one hand this is another use case and on the other hand this is actually allowing bigger return for curation because the tokens that are staked on VFTlab won't participate in the curation process.

Flying under the radar

In my opinion VIBES is flying under the radar and probably one of the most interesting projects on Hive-Engine and I believe that the community deserves a bit more attention from the Hive ecosystem. This is no financial advice and I suggest that you do your own research :-).
