I still can't get my mom to understand working from home..... in 2021

I was having a convo with my mom a few nights ago. I mentioned the lines at the store will get
longer due to 'labor shortages' aka people refusing to work for employers who pay less
and treat people like dog shit. My mom thinks I don't want to work when really I just want to
work at something that makes me happy, which is creating content on these
platforms. My mom said she wanted me to get a job where I am
gareenteed a paycheck. Yet when COVID came, everyone thought their job was safe and they
were getting a check until the cloures happened. I found it
unbelievable after a global pandemic, my mom still would not
understand why I chose working from home. Making content for
these sites, I don't have to put myself at risk of a deadly virus for pennies.
Especally everyone in my house (my included) is vunerable to the virus. My mom still thinks
these jobs are 'safe and garrenteed' even after so many people were
unemployed due to the pandemic.
