In my first vacation when I was 5 years old I learned this song that I bring you today, then many years later when I graduated from Preschool Teacher and then I had my own preschool and worked in others more, for more than 20 years children's songs have been a crucial part of my repertoire, and this song was always one of my students' favorites.
This song also introduces animals, but also seeks that children work on body expression by making some movements while singing, also working on gross motor skills and the ability to socialize with their peers while singing and moving around the space.
For me, children's songs are my favorites, in my mind I have hundreds and hundreds of songs, my own and learned from other authors since this was part of my daily routine for more than 20 years.
I leave you the lyrics of the song, of which I do not know the author. If someone knows, please leave me a comment and I will edit it.
The Elephant
The elephant walks down the street
look how big the elephant is.
If the trunk is always forward, smelling everything within reach.
Its two ears look like fans, hearing everything the kids say.
They say he has a very good memory, and it's because he eats a lot of carrots.
There in the jungle he has many friends, a crazy bow and a bandit bear, and a giraffe that is a bit boring, because he does not want to play hide and seek.
The elephant walks down the street, look how big the elephant is.
Let's keep sharing in this beautiful world of music, thanks Hive Open Mic family for being my safe and favorite place within the Blockchain. ♥ ️
