We are already at the end of April and of course I could not fail to participate in the initiative of the community, showing a little of the city where I live, although in my case I went to the center of the city, because I live in the suburbs, where you can only see houses.

Lomas de Zamora is one of the districts of the autonomous city of Buenos Aires, known as CABA by its initials, and is located in the southern area of Greater Buenos Aires.

Although I didn't visit iconic sites, it's one of the areas I like because you can find everything, and the prices are affordable. The best part is that it's close to home, so when I get tired of the tranquility of living in a retirees' neighborhood, in just 10 minutes I'm already in the excitement of the city, the traffic, and the bustling people.

This is where the Starbucks I always go to is located, which surprises me with each new promotion, and the best part is being able to walk feeling safe.

Usually, on weekends there are always street artists and characters that enhance the walk, but when they're not around, others make themselves noticed, even if it's through posters from local shops.

Many of its streets are preserved as they were originally, before the arrival of asphalt, and that mix of old and modern is fascinating.

And being a commercial area, most food establishments have outdoor seating for those who prefer to enjoy their orders without being indoors, which tends to happen especially during the spring/summer season.

Personally, I would love to explore way beyond the urban area, but given that my schedule is so strict and my commitments as a mom tie me to the city, I try to find ways to explore as much as I can around here, while I save up to head south to meet penguins and sea lions, and why not, even a whale in its natural habitat.
