Hello my friends from Full Deportes and the whole Hive community! It's a pleasure to be here again sharing one of my walks. Well, I don't share this much because I don't want to be monotonous, since I usually go out running in the same Park, but from time to time I will bring you these walks because even for me, who loves to constantly change scenery, this space is so beautiful, that I think there is not a single person who gets bored with the park. On top of that it is immense.
Today's run had a distance of about 7 kilometers, which consumed about 500 calories of mine. The clock read 450 as you will see, but. I don't know why at that moment I had seen 490. Well anyway, the important thing is to move, beyond the calories burned.
Since a few months ago I have been implementing running on the brick dust, as you can see in the video. Since asphalt is very rigid, that other material is kinder to the joints, especially the knees, which receive less impact when running on dirt or brick mill than on the rigidity of cement.
On the other hand, the asphalt is partly reserved for cyclists and skaters, who circulate there, although of course there is also an exclusive space for pedestrians.
Another thing I find interesting to note, is that for a while now I have been alternating running and walking, adding stretches where I even increase the jogging speed to extreme levels for my training. This must take seconds, but it feels pleasurable in the physical activity, like I push myself to the max, and then slow down again. I also feel like it helps me burn more calories, kind of like a tabata. However, it's something I do once or twice in training.
I have also added an interesting variation on the stretching theme. While I always stretched once in the middle of the activity and once at the end, now in an hour, I stop 2-3 times to stretch and then do a more complete stretch at the end.
It's amazing how this has allowed me to improve my running performance, so I'm pretty happy about that.
** While I was doing crunches and stretching, it started to get dark and they turned on the Christmas lights, so I took some pictures for you guys. I hope you like the post and enjoy San Martin Park, which is so beautiful.**
I hope you like it!
I send you love and a big hug and thanks a lot for being here!
